Hi there! My name is Lyssa. (That’s me interviewing chef and restaurateur Daniel Boulud!) I’m a former magazine editor turned digital marketing specialist with a passion for (perhaps, obsession with) restaurants and hospitality.
As a brand storyteller, editorial writer and lifelong Miami native, I’m committed to sharing the stories of local businesses and lifestyle brands in the South Florida community. Most recently, I served as the Marketing & Social Media Manager for the largest hotel in South Beach and its award-winning seafood restaurant.
You can also find me writing about food, travel and more here at home in South Florida. I’ve covered everything from the epic volcano views of Costa Rica and Miami’s best fried chicken to newsier subjects like race relations on a college campus and the history of the University of Miami’s iconic ‘U’ logo.
